Seven Summits Capital, LLC delivers professional active management that is personally, professionally, and cost-effectively delivered. We utilize a proprietary process to source equity ideas and provide a portfolio management approach that builds customized portfolios tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Although each client is unique, many clients share overlapping objectives; therefore, we have developed several broad portfolio strategies that are utilized for the majority of our client portfolios. All equity portfolios will also incorporate various forms of risk-mitigating investments when conditions warrant. Below are some of our most utilized portfolio strategies:

  1. All-Cap Core Equity Growth - A focused, but diversified equity portfolio strategy utilized within both equity-only accounts, as well as accounts that hold a balance of equity, fixed income, and non-traditional assets. This equity strategy will not fit neatly into any style or market capitalization box.  The strategy is predominantly a bottom-up, value-seeking, all-cap, and all-world portfolio. We aim to avoid the limitations and risks of benchmarking to a large-cap, market-cap-weighted index, such as the S&P 500.
  2. All-Cap Dividend Growth - A focused, but diversified equity portfolio strategy utilized within both equity-only accounts, as well as accounts that hold a balance of equity, fixed income, and non-traditional assets. This equity strategy is optimized to maximize dividend yield, drive dividend growth, and capitalize on value opportunities.  Given the dividend factor in the screening, this equity strategy is likely to result in a higher percentage of mature, large-cap companies compared to the All-Cap Core Equity Growth strategy.
  3. Focused Growth - This strategy is derived from a subset of our All-Cap Core Equity Growth universe. It is a specialized use strategy, most commonly utilized as a small allocation within a much larger overall equity strategy for a client, such as a Roth IRA account.  A greater emphasis is placed on identifying those securities within our broader universe that we believe to have near-term catalysts. This strategy will involve greater trading activity and higher volatility and will not attempt to be tax-efficient when utilized in a taxable account.
  4. Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) Strategy - This portfolio strategy aims to broadly leverage the allocation decisions of the All-Cap Core Equity Growth portfolios using ETFs.  The ETF Strategy is typically utilized in both smaller portfolios and the accounts of clients who specify that they are not comfortable owning individual equities.
  5. Core/Satellite Strategy - This portfolio strategy combines the inherent diversification and lower volatility profile of the ETF strategy with the active individual equity strategy of the Focus Growth Strategy.
